Happy St. Patrick’s Day!

The big day is finally here!  That’s right, so whether you’re Irish or not, grab your green clothes and get ready to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day or as they say in Gaelic, Lá Fhéile Pádraig.  Personally I love St. Patrick’s day and look forward to it every year.  The holiday commemorates St. Patrick and also celebrates Irish history and culture in general.  My favorite part of the celebration is the Irish music and of course, my personal favorite, the corned beef and cabbage!

If you’re in the area and looking for something to do on the day of and are lucky enough to get out of work, The Bridgeport St. Patrick’s Day Parade kicks off at noon.  Otherwise you can attend church services, celebrate by wearing your green and getting together with friends and/or maybe going out to one of the Irish pubs in your area for some.  Whatever you decide, enjoy and please be safe!
