FAQs

What is the process for the Junk Removal?

Bookings can be made online or over the phone. For your convenience we will call you approximately 15-30 minutes before we arrive on the day and time of your scheduled appointment. Two professional and experienced recyclers will arrive and assess the items you need removed. You will then be given a no-obligation quote for the job. If you are in agreement with the price we will proceed to load your items into our truck, leaving your space clean and clear. Payment is due upon completion unless prior arrangements have been made with the management.  See How It Works on our website.

How do I book an appointment?

Customers can either BOOK ONLINE with our easy to use online booking process or alternatively call us on 203 914-6185 and speak to our operations department who will be happy to book a time slot for you and advise you on any concerns you may have regarding your junk removal.

How much does it cost?

The price of each job can vary as we charge by the amount of volume your junk takes up in the truck. Our team will give you a no obligation quote upon arrival. You can get a rough idea of the cost if you check out our PRICE ESTIMATOR. Or, alternatively you can call 203 914-6185 and we will be happy to give you a rough idea of the cost over the phone.

How large is your truck?

The truck body is 12 feet long, 4 feet high and 7 feet wide.

Would I be better off renting a dumpster?

Every job is unique in its requirements. One of the big advantages of our service is that we only charge for the amount of space your items take up in the truck. A dumpster will charge you for the full load regardless how much space you use. As a wait and load service, we load and are in and out as fast as possible so you will not have the eyesore of a dumpster sitting on your driveway for an extended period of time. We also separate recyclables and donateables and ensure that everything gets donated, recycled or disposed of correctly.

Can I have an exact arrival time or does it have to be within a two-hour window?

We have two-hour windows to allow us leeway for any unforeseen circumstances such as traffic or jobs that take longer than estimated. We understand that you may need to leave your work, drop the kids to school or have other time restraints that need to be met. Under these circumstances you can contact our office and speak to the operations manager who will make every effort to accommodate your exact needs.

Do I have to be there when you remove the junk?

We prefer our customers to be on site when we arrive but understand that in this busy day and age this is not always possible. If you or a representative are not available, we will review pricing and call for confirmation before proceeding with the job. We accept credit card payment over the phone.

Can your workers do some extra lifting and moving for me?

The price of the junk removal includes all lifting and loading of the junk into the truck. A labor surcharge may be added for additional services separate to the junk removal or for the break down of larger items that cannot be removed by our two strong recyclers. Whatever the circumstance, our team will always be upfront in the pricing and will not proceed without your approval.

What if I want to make some additions to the junk estimated?

Our team provide an on-site estimate on the items that you show them and they base that price on the amount of volume the junk takes up on the truck. If you need to add more junk our team will adjust the estimate accordingly.

What items can you not take?

We are not licensed to and cannot take hazardous materials (see list below). We also do not take heavily soiled items or items that contain bedbugs. We do not feel it is fair to our future customers, staff or donation facilities to remove these items.

Materials we do not take:

  • Heavily soiled items

Sometimes objects may require dismantling or extra labor. Whatever your junk removal needs, we are upfront in our pricing and will always have you approve the price of the job before we start. We do not add on surcharges after the fact. Please check out our surcharge list for items that incur a surcharge.

What types of payment do you accept?

We accept payment by check , any major credit card, pre-approved cash and pre-approved invoice.
